Living Word Imprints

Living word Imprints was started in1995 in a basement as a home based
business in Hartford, CT printing Christian designs on t-shirts and
sweatshirts. From the beginning LWI customers fell in love with business
and products. Soon customers were requesting LWI to print custom
designs for their churches, schools, family reunions and businesses. As
Lwi began to grow, its owner Herman Todd a construction electrician
acquired additional machines, extended his garage and moved the
business from the basement. With the new machines LWI was able to
expand its services and products to include screen printing, embroidery,
promotional items, signs and banners, caps and jackets. In 2003 Herman
rented the store front at 450 Homestead Ave (its present location) and
decided to make Living Word Imprints a full time business.

Throughout its growth, LWI continues to maintain a Christian character of
warmth, fairness, integrity and its committment to providing quality
products at the most reasonable prices which has been the driving force
behind its growth. Most of LWI’s customers are referrals of other
customers. With the move to school uniforms a few years ago ( a move
which Herman, a Caribbean immigrant strongly supports) LWI has emerged
as of the leading company in Connecticut for affordable school uniforms.
Two years ago when the City of Bridgeport adopted uniforms for its
schools, Herman saw the opportunity to expand Living Word Imprints into
Bridgeport and rented a store at 378 Granfield Ave, Bridgeport, CT. This
location offers all the services as the Hartford store.

Early 2010 LWI acquired several copying machines and expanded its
services to offer the full line of paper products such as booklets,
brochures, flyers, business cards, church and funeral bulletins, book
markers, invitations, letter heads and a wide variety of paper goods all at
the lowest rates in Connecticut.

In summary, Living Word imprints is a 1-stop print shop for screen printed
and embroidered apparel, promotional items, signs and banners, school
uniforms and copy and print services.
